I don't know Spanish.

Actually I am starting learning Spanish.

So I thought the easiest way is to see spanish movies?

Is this site related to movies?
Or can anybody give me more details about this site.

Thanks in advance.

Well, watching movies is not the easiest way of learning a language from a beginner's level, but they can help once you have a basic knowledge.

This is a site primarily about the works of Spanish writer Arturo Pérez-Reverte, several of whose novels have been turned into films.

In particular we discuss the series of novels that give title to our forum,

'The adventures of Captain Alatriste', set in the 17th century, which have been made into a film recently.

Welcome.

Depends what country you live in and what language you want to read them in.

The first two have been published in English, but you can order them in Spanish from international sites, such as Amazon.
